     Seismic Accelerometers

The piezoelectric accelerometers shown below are well suited for seismic measurements and the measurement of building vibration (building monitoring). Their high sensitivity is achieved -unlike other high sensitivity accelerometers- by the sensing element itself and not by internal amplification. From this results highest resolution and lowest noise. 

Model KB12(VD) has an unusual design featuring air damping for a low resonance peak and friction coupling for overload protection.

Notice: The new versions KB12VD and KS48C have a considerably increased resolution making them better than most seismic sensors of competitors. Independent test results of the French Navy and a Swedish laboratory prove best noise performance.
